Police

In an emergency dial 999 and ask for Police.

112 (European emergency number) can also be used in an emergency to call police, ambulance or the fire brigade. You can call 112 from your mobile if you don't have a SIM card, though in this case your location and number will not be conveyed to the emergency call centre - consequently, you can't be called back.

Parents / carers of pupils at Kirkbymoorside Community Primary School can collect Foodbank vouchers from the school office between 8.30  and 15.30 Monday to Friday. 

Kirkby Community Fridge

Kirkbymoorside Methodist Church, Piercy End, YO62 6DQ . Every Wednesday 9.30 – 10.30 - open to everyone. Kirkby Community Fridge aims to reduce the amount of waste food from local businesses going to landfill and instead redistributes it to the local community. A number of support organisations (Sight Support, Next steps, Citizens Advice, NYCC and sometimes other organisations such as Carers Plus, Community First Yorkshire, Adult Learning, Ryedale Special Families) meet at the Kirkbymoorside Methodist Church every 2nd Wednesday to promote what they do in the Community. Everyone welcome.

Ryedale Carers Support

A volunteer led charity supporting those who care for someone at home or live alone and are isolated. Next Steps

Next Steps Well-being Centre supports people with mental health problems, well being issues and preventing isolation and loneliness in Ryedale, North Yorkshire, by providing a drop-in centre, activities and outreach groups. The Kirkbymoorside Hub runs every Wednesday, 9:00 - 15:00 ; Crafts 10.00 -12.00, Walking group 10.00 -12.00, Meal deal of the day 12.00, Quiz and support 1.00 - 15.00 and a cuppa/cake. Menzone

MenZown aims is to provide fellowship and support to men from the local area. Originally set up to support men who find themselves alone or isolated by commitment, all men are welcome.
